Last week in Nigeria, I had the opportunity to stand alongside my colleague Muyiwa Ezekiel Oshundele, representatives from LAUTECH and AKSU, the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) — where we reaffirmed our commitment to strengthening cooperation on conflict prevention and early response.

Standing among such dedicated professionals was a powerful reminder that peace starts with understanding and trust — and grows when knowledge, empathy, and technology come together.
